Katie Clark – Katie Clark, aka “InsightsGal”, is a self described hybrid market researcher/project manager/social media diva. She works with companies large and small to help them tune in to the ”Voice of the Customer” through research and social media to create actionable insights to drive the business forward. Currently the Senior Research Manager at Diversified Communications, Katie has worked with and for a smorgasbord of different companies and industries, from software to seafood, from fragrance to finance, and more. Katie is uber-connected and intensely curious early adopter, fascinated with how people (and brands) connect and interact digitally. She has been deeply immersed in the Internet as long as she can remember (case in point: she was the only girl in computer programming “summer camp” in grade school…and this is back in the ’80′s). True to her early adopter ethos, Katie was thrilled to be selected as a Google Glass Explorer in 2013. You can find her on LinkedIn or at About.Me… And of course, on Twitter!

Joel Bolton

Joel lives in Portland. He’s a professional interiors photographer and former web developer. Recently recruited to be part of Google Map’s U.S. network of 400+ Google trained and certified Trusted Photographers, he works closely with Maine business owners to help them leverage the indoor version of Street View. Where Street View ends, Google’s new premium Business Photography program begins— at your business’ front door. Although Joel won’t pull up in an über-cool Street View car sporting a multi-camera/laser array… “Darn”, he says…. he does useStreet View tools and proprietary Google software to produce a very cool 360° walk-through” tour customers use to explore the inside of your business. He’ll talk about this mobile-friendly technology, and how a visually-enhanced result on Google Maps, Search and Google+ Local influences your customers. His background is diverse. His computer experience dates to punch cards in college. And, he promises to shoot a 360°panorama at the breakfast. Photobombing encouraged. Joel’s Google Business Photography site is Maine Virtual Tours.
